DUNHILL 1973 BRUYERE Stack/Chimney BILLIARD Shape 715 F/T Pipe

DUNHILL 1973 BRUYERE Stack/Chimney BILLIARD Shape 715 F/T Pipe

Dunhill's shape 715 is not an easy one to find! In a lovely Bruyere finish from 1973, it's a tall chimney that almost reminds me of a Pipe Dan. It sports thick walls surrounding the deep chamber and has just a touch of forward cant to the bowl. At only 24g it is incredibly lightweight. Shank is round and tapers to meet the original vulcanite stem with fishtail bit and crisp white spot. The Bruyere finish is typical of the 1970's, lighter than it's earlier counterparts with orange/red and golden undertones while the briar displays swirling birdseye with cross grain between. A lovely Dunhill now 47 years old this one is in its prime!
